From 01.04.2017 to 02.04.2017 Genoa opens its Palazzi dei Rolli

(part of Unesco World Heritage Sites since 2006) for a special edition of Rolli Days: two days where the wonderful Genoese historic palaces and a selection of historic country dwellings, built between the Sixteenth and the Seventeenth Centuries by the patrician families of Genoa as their private residences are open to the public.
Villa del Principe will be open to visitors from 10am to 7pm at a special price of € 6,00, inlcuding a free guided tour of all the masterpieces of the Museum and of the amazing garden.
Inside the Villa, in the Galleria Aurea, Svizzera Ricevimenti will also be offering a wine tasting for € 25,00 (including the guided tour).

Finds of Lomellina ship

In the framework of a loan exchange Villa del Principe temporarily houses 3 objects from the Museum of Civilization of Europe and the Mediterranean (MUCEM) coming from the genoese Lomellina ship, wrecked in 1516 off Villefranche-sur-mer. The Mucem also exhibits a recently restored Turkish Flag that witnesses the victory of the Christian fleet to the Battle of Lepanto.
