For the 450th anniversary of the birth of Caravaggio, the restless and brilliant painter who profoundly revolutionised the history of art, the Philatelic and Numismatic Office of the Republic of San Marino has chosen the three splendid masterpieces from the Collection of the Doria Pamphilj Gallery in Rome: Penitent Magdalene, Saint John the Baptist and Rest during the Flight into Egypt for the issue of a series of stamps and a commemorative coin, brilliant uncirculated, which will take place on 30 March 2021.
